We are looking for a tech savvy bookkeeper to join our team in the Townsville office. The position will be responsible for general bookkeeping duties such as accounts payable and receivables, bank reconciliations, ad hoc administrative duties, PAYG | Superannuation compliance, GST, BAS, IAS compliance, quality review processes, general ledger reconciliations, cash flow management and liaising with external accountants
The successful applicant will have
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Bookkeeping Cert IV / Accounting degree or diploma preferred.
- Experience with Xero essential
- Proven experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Intermediate skills across MS Office products
